Understanding Financial Literacy in Financial Inclusion

In the quest for financial liberty, we need to understand the basics of money. It not only shapes our thinking of money, but also gives us another angle to approach financial knowledge. We expound more on the science of money, its importance and why consolidation is important in wealth creation and management.

Since it is a legal tender, we also show Chamas ways to stay out of trouble. If registered, the honours are on them to ensure compliance to all the Finance Acts are adhered to. More importantly, factoring in taxation from their contributions and how not to touch the principle in wealth creation.

Although we do not offer Investment services, we have classes where we teach our members on what to invest in, when, how and the expected results. Our examples are time bound, economically correct and fiscally sound. If you need further analysis, talk to our relationship manager for guidance.

  • What is Financial Literacy?

    It is a program that helps Chama members understand more about money functionalities and how to harness this knowledge in financial inclusion. Chama Systems believes resource mobilization needs proper education to collect, manage and dispense.

  • We offer one session FREE in every 6 months. If you need more sessions, talk to your relationship manager for facilitation and execution. We advocate proper financial management, especially when the Chama has a turnover of KES 3 million and above.

  • Our Financial Literacy system is reliable and forward thinking. We aim at making the unbanked enjoy the convenience and trust associated with financial inclusion. The goal is creating a literate society that understands the value and importance of resource pooling.

  • Yes. Based on the structure of your Chama, we can custom-make our presentation to suit your needs. The examples, estimations and formulae come from your propositions, which will make your program relatable. More importantly, our Chama Systems system can guide your Chama on how to align finances, especially the loaning structure to suit your growth needs.
